It seems that photography has taken over my gallery of late. I don't consider it my new professional medium, but I find a lot of inspiration in photography and I am not taking pictures simply for reference anymore. I would like to get back into drawing and painting, but I have been so busy lately I don't really have the concentration or the time, and photography can be done in those few free minutes or hours that I have whether I am at home or away. I hope you enjoy what I have been posting and for those of you who are waiting for me to post more painting or pen and ink work, don't worry, they're just around the bend.

This was my first year participating in Art on Bartlett Mall, a local art show that take's place on the first weekend of the "Yankee Homecoming" festival in Newburyport MA, my now hometown. I also hadn't participated in an outdoor art event in a couple of years because I wasn't having success in Andover's Art in The Park, apparently, a tough crowd according to other Mall artists. This show was called one artists "bread and butter show", and after having sold 3 paintings for decent money on my first year, with no following, I can see why.
